Redesign: AAMC's Loan Repayment, Forgiveness, and Scholarship Database
This database has been modernized and re-platformed to streamline content and enhance functionality. This is a free, searchable database that serves as a resource for you as you seek state and federal loan repayment, loan forgiveness, and scholarship opportunities.

NBME/NMF Educational
Assistance Award Fund:
This fee assistance award will provide $670 awards to 1,340 medical students to who have registered in 2024 to take the USMLE Step 1 or Step 2 CK exam to offset the cost of their exam registration fees.

If you haven't done so, you will need to submit your health clearance application and supporting documentation online through Persinda, an online database within ORCHID.

Flu Vaccine at Pappas Quad
USC Student Health will be hosting a Flu vaccine campaign at Pappas Quad on the following date/time:
Monday, November 4th (11:30am - 1:00pm)
As a reminder, the flu vaccine is a required component of annual health clearances for all students at USC Student Health and LA General Medical Center. USC Student Health will have flu badge stickers available. If you need one, make sure to bring your badge!
Please complete and bring with you the Flu Consent Form, provided on the PDF icon to the right.
The vaccine is covered for students enrolled in the USC Student Health Insurance Plan. Students not on the plan will be required to pay $20.00.

Shadowing Faculty/Operating Room access
at Keck Medical Center
As a reminder, all students who wish to shadow Faculty or wish to enter the Operating Room at the Keck Medical Center must first be approved by the Office of Student Affairs.
Prior to submitting a shadowing request, student must first receive approval from Faculty they wish to shadow. Upon approval, students must submit a request by emailing Peter Miranda the information below

Out of respect for patients, staff, and the intense/confidential nature of the O.R., access can only be approved on a case-by-case basis. We cannot approve students for an unlimited amount of time.
Parking on Campus

(Rotation/GAP Parking): You may purchase a parking permit for specific dates by visiting the USC Transportation Customer Service Center (KAM 120). Accommodations will be at Lot 71.
The cost of these permits for two weeks is $44.00. Should your permit request be for more than two weeks, you will be charged a prorated fee for additional days that are required.
